First, I am not a poet. A poet is someone who devotes his life to
poetry and produces volumes of poetry. The few poems you see here
are simply a result of putting on paper some thoughts that would not
let me go until they had been jotted down. Often an idea will nag at
me until it finds form, whatever that form may be. Sometimes it is an
essay, sometimes a letter to a friend, sometimes just a discussion.
But once in a while, the form the idea requires is poetry. That is
where this sampling comes from.
