Our 1998 trip to Europe started in Denmark where we stayed with Anne and Poul-Fleming Trane on their farm. Danish farms are the best tended farms in the world, and the Trane farm was a perfect example. They rotate peas and barley to keep the soil in top condition, as you can see.
